OVERVIEW
Energy and Metals are undeniably essential staples of our finite resource ecosystem.
Thus there is a natural concept for linking the recovery of both together, particularly if they can be derived from a single source mine ore/waste, as is the case with The Niomet Project.
Further, if it can be empirically demonstrated that the recovered energy and the metals are clean and environmentally sustainable from ‘cradle to cash’ and further, that the extraction of ancillary metals composition (whether as oxide minerals or metal) is of purity well exceeding threshold required for the modern batteries and power cells, then there is a compelling case to be made for accelerating its development from proof of concept (pilot) to plant commissioning (commercial).
This, fundamentally, is the singular objective of the NIOMET CONSORTIUM.
