Overview

Energy and metals are essential staples of a finite resource ecosystem.

There is a natural case for recovering both together, particularly where they can be derived from a single source of mine ore or waste, as with The Niomet Project.

Where it can be empirically demonstrated that the recovered energy and metals are clean and environmentally sustainable from “cradle to cash”, and that the ancillary metals, whether as oxide minerals or metal, are of a purity well exceeding the threshold required by modern batteries and power cells, there is a compelling case for accelerating development from proof of concept at pilot scale to commercial plant commissioning.

This, fundamentally, is the singular objective of the NIOMET Consortium.

The 5M framework

Five disciplines. One closed loop.

Market, Management, M&A, Mining and Metals: five disciplines brought to the critical energy metals play as one system.
